MELODY STRINGS COURSES AS BELOW :
GRADE 1 TO DIPLOMA LESSON (30mins / 45mins / 60mins )
Grade 1 to diploma lesson only offers of Individual Class. This is because teachers can give 100% undivided attention during lesson.
At the end of the term, students in MELODY STRINGS are encouraged to take part in our term exam to recognise students success and reassurance that students are on the right track. More than 98% of our students achieved merit and above in the ABRSM examination and good results for DSA secondary school yearly.

STRINGS ORCHESTRA (120 mins )
In orchestra rehearsals, your child will not only learn to know his own parts but will also be taught to listen to melodies of other instruments and to follow the beats given by the conductor. By constantly having to deal with these vertical and horizontal progressions of chords and melodies, your child will improve in both musical sense and performance capability.
Performing on stage is a ceremony about life experience, an exploration of the unknown, and the future. It is a small sweet excuse to go forward in fantasy. Here children can observe nature, experience life, test their creativity, explore limits, and continually explore the future.

Melody Strings Quartet
STRING QUARTET (60 min )
String quartet is the most important form of chamber music in the classic period, it is the most harmonious, noble, elegant, and classic performance combination.
This is a challenging performance for strings musician, through exquisite performance skills and perfect ensemble tacit to express the beauty and the connotation of music.
Although String Quartet not as pulsating as the symphony, the music of this genre is based on exquisite lyrics, creating a musical atmosphere of friendly conversation between people. It is also the form of music advocated by the nobles, becoming the most meticulous instrumental genre of today.

MUSIC THEORY LESSON (30mins / 45mins / 60mins )
The knowledge of music theory will help the child to understand and control contrasts in dynamics, note values, and rhythms. The importance of music theory cannot be emphasized enough, as it will allow the child to read and learn new music all by him/herself!
