Joshua Tan Masterclass

Manlinds is honored to invite the famous Singaporean conductor, Joshua Tan, to hold a string orchestra master class for our school’s ‘Manlinds Children’s String Chamber Orchestra’ and ‘Manlinds Youth String Chamber Orchestra’!

In the Victoria Concert Hall, the young performers of the orchestra gained a wealth of music knowledge in just 4 hours, and explained the key points of music processing and techniques in more depth. We are happy to see that the students are constantly absorbing knowledge in the ocean of music, and we also hope that the children of Manlindes will be able to take their orchestra training to a higher level through this master class!

In January 2016, the first Manlindes String Orchestra master class was held, and the orchestra was instructed by the Singapore National Symphony Orchestra’s music director, Master Shui Lan!
